Kevin Thompson (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Kevin has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 10 years. He was born in Illinois and grew up in West Michigan. He is married and has a son who is 10 and a daughter who is 6. Prior to becoming an SLP, Kevin received his certification as an English and History teacher. He enjoys working with individuals who have difficulty with communication.

Kevin received his Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toledo and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. He has worked in both the medical field and in the schools which has allowed him to gain valuable experience in assessment and treatment of a large variety of speech, language, and communication impairments. He has extensive experience in the areas of Autism and Asperger syndrome, articulation, augmented/alternative communication, speech and language development/rehabilitation, and Traumatic Brain Injury. He is licensed in multiple states and has experience providing on-site and teletherapy services. In his free time, Kevin enjoys being with his family, listening to music, and spending time on Lake Michigan.
