Emily received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of Santa Fe and holds a Master’s Degree in Martial Family Therapy & Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University.  Emily is a trauma-informed Licensed School Counselor focused on the social & emotional well-being of students and their families.  Offering therapeutic modalities such as Pet Therapy, Art Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy,  Emily is skilled in conflict resolution, psychosocial assessment, and education, case management, suicide risk assessment, LGBTQ/Gender related issues, cultural competency, Special Education/IEP, attachment disorders, substance abuse, support for CYFD and Foster Families, as well as experience working with families experiencing homelessness.


Emily uses humor and play in her approach to counseling and is also a graduate of the UCB Improv Theatre in Los Angeles.  Emily is currently pursuing stand-up comedy and improv locally in Santa Fe and enjoys being creative with her two school-aged children and spoiling her licensed support pug, Mochi, who is trained to work in a K-12 setting alongside her, providing pet therapy.
