Courtney Cominsky

Courtney attended West Virginia University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology, a minor in Child Development and Family Studies, and a minor in Family and Youth. She has previously worked at a daycare and in the school setting. She is grateful to continue her passion and grow with Communication Express.

She believes communication is an integral part of life. Courtney's aspirations are to make a meaningful difference in improving individual's quality of life and strives to empower individuals to become confident communicators. With a heart for helping others, she finds her endeavors to support individuals in developing and implementing communication skills to be very rewarding and fulfilling.

Living in a rural area, Courtney understands the challenges of accessing therapy as a result of location or circumstances. Therefore, she is an advocate in the flexibility and power of teletherapy which reduces barriers to receive services.

Outside of work, she enjoys embracing the outdoors, gardening, thrift shopping, and collecting owls, but she mostly loves spending treasured time with her loved ones and rescue animals: one dog and four cats.
