Clarissa Hastings

With a Master of Arts in Counseling and over a decade of experience as a school counselor, Clarissa uses her background in art therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, brief therapy, grief therapy, and crisis intervention to help families heal. Using her background as a middle and high school teacher, she develops strong lesson plans and presentations that demonstrate skills such as self-regulation, resilience, collaborative communication skills, managing difficult situations including bullying behavior, and strong mediation skills that typically result in problem solving. She is also a published author, writing books about healing from traumatic experiences. Clarissa has been married for over 36 years. Together, she and her husband Ken raised two amazing daughters who are building families of their own, including two sweet granddaughters who call Clarissa "Grandma Honey."
