Melissa Macapilit

Melissa is originally from the Philippines. Melissa has worked for over ten years in the Special Education program both Resource, Functional/Life-skills and Self-contained class. She has worked with the State of Arizona Public Education Department. Melissa has a Bachelor Degree in Special Education and is currently taking her masters degree for SPED. She is passionate about helping her students succeed in school and she believes that each child has their own unique SPECIAL-abilities. She finds "TEACHING" as the most rewarding job that this world has to offer. 

Melissa loves spending quality time with her two adorable children, a 2-year old girl and a 7-year old boy. She is also interested in watching home interior designing from different famous personalities and designer's perspectives.
